Oakleaf
Primary School educates children from Nursery to Year 6 on a large site with
plenty of classroom and outdoor space. The staff benefit from the
opportunities afforded by being part of the well-established Scholars’
Education Trust, with close links to The Hemel Hempstead School and Longdean
School, both local SET schools, and others within Hertfordshire &
Bedfordshire.
The
successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated
to making a difference to children's learning. You will need to enjoy working
with children and be passionate and committed to helping children develop as
independent and confident individuals. This role will help support pupils to
access all aspects of learning and self-help skills. You will work closely within
the EYFS team with a responsibility for key children within EYFS.
You will
need to have a NVQ level 3 (appropriate to Early Years and a GCSE or equivalent
in English and Maths (C or above) with a high standard of written and
spoken English.
The school
is part of Scholars’ Education Trust (SET), an established, cross phase,
multi-academy trust formed in 2012.
