Hurstmere School is seeking to appoint a highly effective SEN Teaching Assistant, to start from June 2026.
The successful candidate will support students with additional needs and help them reach their full potential. The role involves providing tailored support, encouraging independence, and working closely with teachers and support staff in an inclusive learning environment.
This is a part time, fixed term role, Term Time Only, paid on the NJC pay scale point 5-7 (FTE £29,436- £33,987 – actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £23,984 - £27,692 per annum). This position is fixed term until 27th August 2027, due to school SEN funding.
The working pattern will consist of 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:15-15:45, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
