About this Role
Hurstmere School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Design Technology & Science Technician, to start from September 2026.
Hurstmere School is seeking an enthusiastic Design Technology & Science Technician to support practical learning across both departments. The role includes preparing equipment and resources, maintaining workshops and laboratories, supporting practical lessons, and ensuring high standards of health and safety. Full training is provided, and previous school experience is not essential.

This is a part time, permanent role, Term Time Only +1 week, paid on the Bexley NJC pay scale point 5.1-5.4 (FTE £29,436 - £29,856 – actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £22,857 - £23,183 per annum).
The working pattern will consist of 32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:30-15:30, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
