St Marys Wavendon C of E Primary School is proud to be part of the Inspiring Futures through Learning (IFtL) family of schools who inspire all of our futures through learning together.  At IFtL we are never alone, we know we are stronger together - one united family striving for excellence for all, in everything we do.

We are a vibrant, nurturing Church of England primary school where every child is valued, supported, and inspired to thrive. Rooted in Christian values, our school fosters a love of learning, creativity, and community. Join us and discover a place where children grow in confidence, character, and curiosity - ready to shine in all they do.

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive administrator to support our school office. If you enjoy helping people, keeping things running smoothly, and being a welcoming first point of contact, this could be the perfect role for you.

Aim and main purpose of the role:

·        Provide efficient and reliable administrative support to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the school, including tasks such as photocopying, filing, emailing and managing documents.

·        Maintain accurate manual and digital records, ensuring timely data entry into school systems to support essential school processes and statutory requirements.

·        Act as a professional first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils and staff by delivering a welcoming and effective reception service.

·        Support the organisation and coordination of school activities and events, such as trips, photography days and extracurricular opportunities.

·        Handle key administrative responsibilities safely and accurately, including mail management, cash handling following policy, and supporting attendance‑related processes.

Please see the job description for further details.

We can offer:

As part of the Inspiring Futures through Learning, successful candidates have access to  enhanced family leave, Employee Assistance program, bespoke CPD and auto enrolment in LGPS/Teacher pension.  All IFtL employees have access to a benefits platform which offers discount on gym membership, cinema tickets, cycle to work scheme and much more.

Our children and young people come from a wide range of backgrounds, and so do our colleagues. We aim to reflect and celebrate diversity in our workplace in order to create an inclusive culture that adds real value to our vision of inspiring the futures of us all through learning together.

Inspiring Futures through Learning is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All employees are expected to share this commitment, to follow IFtL’s safeguarding policies and procedures, and to behave appropriately towards children at all times, both in work and in their personal lives.

All school-based posts are defined as Regulated Activity and therefore this post is subject to an Enhanced with Barred List Criminal Records Bureau check
