We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and highly effective Class Teacher who is passionate about delivering exceptional learning experiences for every child. At Barton Hill Academy, you will be committed to high expectations, inclusive practice, and inspiring pupils to achieve their very best. You will bring creativity, resilience, and a collaborative spirit, working closely with colleagues to create a nurturing, ambitious environment where all learners thrive.

 Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils and promote excellent progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and purposeful classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and close gaps in attainment.
• Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEND and pupils requiring additional support.
• Establish strong routines and behaviour expectations in line with the academy’s policies.
  

Pay range:

• M1 - M6 - £32,916.00 - £45,352.00
• 32.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
• Full Time, Permanent

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Proven ability to deliver high quality teaching that leads to strong pupil progress
• Secure knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners including those with SEND and EAL
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
