Are you a driven individual who is looking to enhance students’ journeys through Post-16 Education? Perhaps you have an interest in student welfare, providing great support to the leadership team in their work or student recruitment?  Joining the Student Services team means you can make a real difference with the ability to drive the role in a direction which interests you. By working closely with key teams throughout Long Road Sixth Form College, including our enthusiastic Student Care, Guidance and Progression, and Admissions teams you will be an integral part of the Student Services team.  You will provide excellent customer service, professional front-line helpdesk and reception service, and a broad range of administrative support to ensure a great experience for our staff, pupils and parents.  You will undertake a variety of student administration duties, answer in-person, phone and email enquiries, note-taking and general College administration as required, as well as contribute ideas towards departmental projects and support college wide events.

You will need excellent administrative and customer service skills, the ability to produce and develop clear, concise, accurate data, and you will be adaptable, flexible, and enthusiastic. Like us, you will be passionate about the power of education, determined to set the highest standards in everything you do – and ready to learn and grow every day.

In return, we offer a comprehensive package of benefits including pension, travel discounts, free wi-fi, a cycle to work scheme and fantastic working facilities including free onsite parking and a fitness suite. You can also expect plenty of scope for professional development – enabling you to take your career anywhere further.

This post is for full time (37 hours per week) on a permanent, Term-Time Only (+5 days usually taken in August) basis.  Due to the requirements of the reception opening hours the hours for this role will be 9:00am – 5:00pm.
