Full-Time • Term time only £25,159 – £25,951 Full-time Equivalent • £21,965 actual starting salary • Permanent • Start Immediately or from commencement of next Academic Year (24th August 2026)

Long Road Sixth Form College is a thriving, successful post-16 Sixth Form College with 2,600 students on roll across a variety of studies. Conveniently located close to the M11 and A14, the college is set next to the Biomedical Campus in its own attractive grounds in the beautiful and expanding city of Cambridge. Long Road was judged by OFSTED to be Good or Outstanding in all five categories at its most recent inspection in February 2025.

In this role you will provide high-quality and responsible administrative support to the Safeguarding & Wellbeing and Additional Learning Support (ALS) teams, taking a proactive role in supporting their day-to-day functioning. You will be a key team player, able to work independently, and confident in liaising with students, staff, parents and external stakeholders in order to help students with SEND and other barriers to learning to succeed at College and ensure compliance with our duties to provide safe and inclusive education.

Our ideal candidate will have administrative experience - preferably in an educational or support services setting – with an understanding of confidentiality & the handling of complex and sensitive information. Due to the nature of the administrative work related to our safeguarding management system (MyConcern), completion of Designated Safeguarding Lead training will be required in order to fulfil aspects of this role.

The standard working day at Long Road is 8.30 – 16.30 Monday to Thursday, and 8.30 – 16.00 on Fridays.
