Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that are tailored to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs and EAL learners.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, resilience, and a love of learning.
  • Use data-driven methods to assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, ensuring every child reaches their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support for pupils.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and staff meetings.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding, behaviour management, and health and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A proactive and reflective approach to teaching, with a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
  • An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
