We are looking for an individual who is nurturing, proactive and committed to making a significant impact on our children's lives. You will work closely with school leaders, teachers, families, and external agencies to provide targeted support, build confidence, and create positive learning journeys for our pupils. Your role will see you supporting children in class, running our nurture provision and exploring new and exciting ways to engage with parents.

What We are Looking For:

  • A proven ability to build strong, trusting relationships with young people
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with empathy and resilience
  • Experience in a school or youth setting, ideally with SEND or challenging behaviours
  • A proactive, resourceful, and solution-focused approach
  • Sense of humour!
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English essential
  • Relevant qualifications desirable

What We Can Offer:

  • Happy children
  • Families who want the best for their children
  • A staff team who are committed to improving outcomes for children
  • A supportive and collaborative school community
  • A culture of positive wellbeing
  • Opportunities for ongoing training

We encourage you to come and see us to really see what Sacred Heart has to offer. Please contact school to arrange a visit and informal chat with the headteacher.
