About this Role

Hangleton Primary School as part of Eko Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils attending our schools. As the duties of this post involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidate will be conditional upon an Enhanced DBS check being completed. This post is also subject to a satisfactory probationary period and medical clearance.

The Role

This is a casual, "as-needed" position perfect for someone looking for supplemental income or a community-focused role. You will be responsible for transporting children safely to and from various locations.

Typical trips include:

School Day Excursions: Museums, theatre trips, and educational outings.
After-School Sports: Dropping off and picking up teams for local matches and tournaments.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Category D1 License: A clean driving record with the entitlement to drive a minibus.
Safety First Mindset: A calm, professional demeaner behind the wheel.
Child Safety: You must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS (background) check, and safeguarding training.
Reliability: Punctuality is key when there's a kickoff or a museum tour booked!
