About this Role

Compass Eko Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust formed on 1 April 2026 through the merger of The Compass Partnership of Schools (established 2017) and Eko Trust (established 2016).

Hangleton Primary School is seeking to appoint a number of enthusiastic and committed Midday supervisors to join our team

Hours 12. - 13.05pm everyday

The role involves

  • 1.    Supervising children at lunch time and to ensure their safety.
  • actively promote positive behaviour in the playground by ensuring the areas are utilised properly and intervening to encourage positive play activities
  • To deal with inappropriate behaviour in accordance with the behaviour policy procedures and where necessary to report difficulties to the line manager.
  • To help solve conflict amongst children.


    To mop up and wipe spillage from floor surfaces or meal tables as and when necessary.

  • To ensure that dining areas are left in a tidy condition
  • To attend to injured or sick children, including clearing up in accordance with the school’s first aid procedures.
  •    Applicants must have at previous experience of working or helping with children, preferably in an educational setting.

Hangleton Primary School as part of CompassEko Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils attending our schools. As the duties of this post involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidate will be conditional upon an Enhanced DBS check being completed. This post is also subject to a satisfactory probationary period and medical clearance.
