About this Role

This is a fixed term post until 17th July 2026 due to funding

31.25 hours per week, term time only

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, to work one to one with a child with special educational needs.

Skills and qualifications required:

NVQ 3 or equivalent in Education or Children & Young People
Experience of of working with children with SEND
A commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
Good communication skills
The ability to contribute to planning, monitoring and assessment of pupils; assisting the class teacher
The ability to work together with and support team members and children
Be resilient, flexible, patient and the ability to work under pressure
