The
Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST) is a multi-academy trust providing
exceptional education across our community of 11 schools and five nurseries.
Since forming in 2016, we have grown significantly into one of the largest
single employers in Central Bedfordshire. We now educate more than 8,000
children across the area, from nursery age to advanced level study. It is
our aim to grow the BEST in everyone, and everything we do is driven by our
values, but our aims can only be achieved if we recruit, retain and develop the
highest quality workforce – and we want those we employ to be valued in the workplace.
Castle
Newnham is an all-through school with approximately 1,400 pupils located in the
county town of Bedford. We are looking
for an
exceptional candidate who is deeply committed to inclusive education, from
Reception through to Year 11. We are looking for an experienced leader who
embodies 'human leadership' - someone with the ambition to challenge the status
quo, develop innovative ideas, and inspire staff and students at all levels.
You will be an innovative professional, fully aligned with the school’s ethos
and strategic vision.
As Senior Vice Principal, you will play a pivotal
role in the strategic leadership and management of the school. Working closely
with the Principal, you will help drive our mission to provide outstanding
education and foster a culture of high expectations and continuous
improvement.
