About this Role

You will be expected to work with the teacher in a collaborative way, in meeting the personal, social and curriculum related needs of pupils, including those with special needs, and to establish positive, supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and the wider community, and by contributing ideas and strategies. You will assist with the planning, delivery and evaluation of the curriculum and it's differentiation amongst pupils.

plan and implement teaching and learning activities to individuals and groups
to undertake supervisory cover for classes as appropriate.
establish supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and the wider community

You will work closely with the school's SENDCO to plan and resource The Ark provision.

You will lead day to day work with pupils working in The Ark and ensure their targets are met, supporting them to access a rich, developmentally suitable environment.

This is a fixed term position with variable hours, where the minimum is 15 hours and the maximum is 31 hours 40 minutes.

8.40am – 12.00pm (Monday to Friday)

12.45pm – 3.45pm (Monday to Friday)
