This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding practitioner to take on the role of whole-school strategic lead for English (Reading, Phonics, and Writing).

As English Lead, you will be responsible for providing exemplary classroom practice and leading the strategic development of our English curriculum , ensuring it is progressive, cumulative, and effectively implemented from Early Years through to Year 6. You will use your expertise to coach colleagues and ensure the highest quality of teaching and learning in this core subject.
As English Lead, you will be expected to fulfil the responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the STPCD, including planning and teaching lessons, assessing pupils’ progress, and managing behaviour effectively.
