Are you a caring, organised and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting young people?

King's Academy Brune Park is seeking a Student Welfare Administrator Assistant to become a valued member of our Inclusion team. This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same. You'll play a vital part in ensuring our students are safe, supported and able to thrive throughout the school day.

About the Role

As the school's Student Welfare Administrator Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver first aid and respond confidently to medical incidents.
  • Support students with medical conditions and administer medication in line with school policies.
  • Help manage individual healthcare plans and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Assist with school vaccination programmes and support anxious or unwell students.
  • Maintain first aid supplies, inhalers and EpiPens across the school.
  • Provide dedicated support to a student with physical needs, promoting independence and ensuring they can fully access school life. Full training will be provided, including moving and handling, hoisting and specialist care procedures.
  • Work closely with parents, staff and healthcare professionals to provide outstanding student care.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Calm, caring and approachable under pressure.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator who builds positive relationships.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Experience in education, healthcare or a care setting is desirable, but we are equally interested in candidates with the right values, enthusiasm and commitment to supporting young people.
