hrs weekly (2.5 hrs per day Mon - Friday) afternoons 3.30pm-6.00pm
St Peter’s
Catholic Primary school is a one-form entry primary school, in the South of
Birmingham. We are looking to appoint a cleaner, to commence as soon as
possible. They will be hardworking and committed to providing an excellent
cleaning service. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
Duties
·
To secure and lock the school at the
end of the shift
·
To arrive for work on time and wear the
correct clothing for the tasks you will undertake during your shift.
·
To sign in and out of the building.
·
To follow a detailed high level
cleaning schedule some of which is listed below.
·
To empty all waste bins and remove to
the appropriate rubbish bin outside.
·
To clean all surface areas e.g. desk,
shelves, filing cabinet etc. without disturbing people or their belongings.
·
To clean all interior glass e.g., glass
panels in door, partition wall, glass table, reachable windows etc.
·
To vacuum/sweep all areas and mop any
hard floors.
·
Clean male and female toilets,
washbasins and tiles etc. Replenish toilet rolls, hand towels and soap
dispensers.
·
To ensure all tasks are carried out
with due regard to Health and Safety including putting out safety signs, were
necessary.
·
To be a team player, covering areas
when needed,
·
Promote, through good conduct, the
ethos and values of the school.
·
Report any defects seen which are
likely to affect security i.e. broken/cracked windows, etc to the Site Manager.
·
Other relevant cleaning jobs around the
building and on grounds as directed by the Site Manager and school staff.
