St John Vianney is a two-form entry school with a Nursery and a SEND provision unit for 16 children with EHCPs. We are seeking an enthusiastic Educational Healthcare Assistant to join our team and provide educational, personal care and healthcare support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with complex learning, physical and medical needs. 

      Working alongside teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals and families, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning, develop independence, build confidence and achieve their full potential. 

      What You'll Be Doing

      • Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
      • Assisting with learning activities and adapting support to meet individual needs.
      • Providing personal care with dignity, sensitivity and respect.
      • Supporting pupils with healthcare needs and administering medication following appropriate training.
      • Promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and inclusion.
      • Working collaboratively with school staff, families and external professionals.
      • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to a safe and nurturing environment.

      Hours: 25 per week, term time only plus inset days
