recruiting a Deputy Headteacher to join our dedicated and forward-thinking
team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong, experienced teacher who is
ready to make a difference at a strategic level.
We are a newly established school
(open since September 2024), sitting proudly at the heart the heart of the
community we serve. As a school, we believe in delivering an exceptional
education that empowers children to reach their full potential. Whipman Woods
Flying High Academy is a vibrant, well-resourced and supportive learning environment

The Flying High Partnership is a
thriving multi-academy trust of 38 primary schools across Derbyshire,
Leicestershire, Nottingham City, and Nottinghamshire. We are driven by a shared

in the power of meaningful collaboration to help schools reach their full
potential while supporting others along the way.

About the Role
As our Deputy Headteacher, you
will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our
school, with a particular focus on high expectations, assessment, and
curriculum leadership, to develop exceptional teaching and learning. In
collaboration with the Headteacher, your role will be to shape and implement
the school’s vision, contributing both support and professional insight. The
role includes a Key Stage 2 teaching commitment and leadership time, balanced
to support our school's continuous improvement and your own development. This
is a key role for someone with a relentless drive to improve outcomes, who is
ready to lead across the school and contribute to its long-term vision.
