Voices and Visions curriculum
The Wisbech Academy ‘Voice and Visions’ curriculum, brings together Art Design and Technology, Computer English, Geography, History, Religious Studies and Personal, Social and Health Education. It will be taught for 11 hours with a single teacher in year 7. Each teacher will have the opportunity to get to know the students in their group well and to focus not just on their academic progress, but also on their personal development and wellbeing. The ‘Voices and Visions’ teachers will be the first point of contact for the families of the students in their group and will play a vital role in building partnerships with parents.
As a ‘Voices and Visions’ teacher, you will be part of a team that will pioneer the ‘Voices and Visions’ programme. You will be responsible for helping to shape the curriculum and taking an oversight of students’ pastoral development.

About The Wisbech Academy
The Wisbech Academy is a new 11-16 600-student (120 PAN) secondary school which opened for students in September 2024 to help meet growing demand for school places in Wisbech, North Cambridgeshire.
The school opened within the Thomas Clarkson Academy building in Phase One to provide additional capacity for 100 students in September 2024. The Phase One modular building will be built ready for September 2025, and it will be located off Weasenham Lane, next to where the permanent new school building will be created. the new school will also be located alongside the existing Thomas Clarkson Academy, as part of the Wisbech Campus, allowing the schools to share capacity and facilities to provide better opportunities for students and staff now and in the future.
Students and staff are expected to move into the new building in during the 2026/2027 academic year, where it will grow into a 120 PAN school.
