Family Support Worker at The Richmond Primary Academy

To be an effective Family Support Worker who supports children and their families to ensure pupils are successful, happy, safe, and able to achieve their full potential. The Family Support Worker will work closely with pupils, parents/carers, staff, and external agencies to remove barriers to learning, improve attendance, promote positive wellbeing, and strengthen family engagement with the school.

The postholder will play a key role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and wider safeguarding team to ensure that children are safe, supported, and able to access education consistently

30 hours per week over 5 days (actually working hours can be negotiated) 

TERM TIME  - Plus 3 additional weeks and 5 training days
