The Role

Brooksward School and Nursery is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Unqualified Early Years Practitioner to join our baby room team, working with children from 4 months to 2 years in a calm, safe and engaging environment.

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, patience and a genuine love for working with our youngest children. You don’t need a formal Early Years qualification — what matters most is your commitment to helping little ones feel secure, valued and ready to explore the world around them.

In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced colleagues to create meaningful, playful experiences that support early development, build trusting relationships with families and contribute to the smooth running of our friendly, welcoming baby room. If you’re ready to make a real difference within a caring school community, we’d love to hear from you.

Why Join Us?

Dedicated Nursery building – A purpose‑designed space created just for our youngest children

Generous holidays – 30 days annual leave, increasing to 35 days with length service (for all-year round staff)

Great pension – Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme

Wellbeing support – Free, 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family

Grow your skills – Fantastic training and development opportunities to help you shine

Make your mark – A chance to shape a setting and lead a passionate, close-knit team
