DEPUTY MANAGER – NURSERY &
PRE-SCHOOL
Commencing January or February 2026
Salary – £30,518 to £33,699 p.a.
37 hours per week (on a shift pattern)
The
Role
Are you ready to step into a leadership role where you can truly make a difference every single day? We’re looking for a passionate and driven Deputy Manager to join our Nursery and Pre-School team at Brooksward – someone who’s ready to support, inspire, and help shape the future of our youngest learners.
Working alongside the Nursery Manager and Pre-School Teacher, you’ll play a key role in the smooth, successful running of the setting. From leading a high-quality early years provision to ensuring wraparound care is consistent, safe and enriching, you’ll be at the heart of a nurturing environment where children are supported to thrive.
You’ll help guide and motivate a dedicated team, champion best practice and be a trusted point of contact for families. Whether it’s organising the daily routine, supporting staff development or confidently stepping up in the Nursery Manager’s absence, you’ll lead with care, clarity, and purpose.
We’re looking for someone who brings positive energy, excellent organisation and a deep commitment to early childhood education. If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and want to be part of a supportive, inclusive setting that puts children at the centre of everything then we would love to hear from you.
