We are
looking for an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our
small and friendly team. The position is to support a child with medical needs
on a 1:1 within the class and across break times to achieve their very best. The position is a fixed term contract until
31st August 2024 with a possible extension after this date.
Skills, qualities and experience:·
A passion and enthusiasm to work with children
· Experience of working with children
is desirable
· Be enthusiastic and motivated
· Able to show initiative
· Have good organisational skills
· Flexible and able to adapt to
changing situations
· Be dedicated to safeguarding children
· Good level of education (GCSE maths
and English A-C or equivalent)
Roles and
responsibilities
· Support a child with an EHCP on a 1:1
basis due to medical needs
· Work under the guidance of the class
teacher and SENco
· Maintain records for the pupil
· Liaise with the school staff and
parents
· Provide break and lunchtime
supervision
· Carry out training as required for the role
