Are you ready to inspire young learners at the very start of
their school journey?
St John the Baptist CE Primary School & Nursery is a
small, welcoming village school set at the heart of its community. With our
children genuinely at the centre of everything we do, we are seeking a
passionate and dedicated EYFS/KS1 teacher to join our friendly and supportive
team.
Our school is known for its warm, family atmosphere, strong
relationships and nurturing Christian ethos, underpinned by our core values of
Love, Hope and Respect. We are immensely proud of our Outstanding Nursery and
Early Years provision (Ofsted 2019) and the calm, inclusive environment we
provide for children aged 2–11.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to teach a mixed-age
EYFS/KS1 class, working with inquisitive, kind and motivated children who love
learning. You will have the chance to shape early learning experiences, inspire
curiosity and creativity, and help children flourish both academically and
personally.
You will be supported by an experienced and passionate staff
team who work collaboratively, share best practice and place a strong emphasis
on wellbeing and professional development. As part of the Shropshire Church of
England Academies Trust, you will also benefit from wider opportunities for
collaboration and CPD.

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged – we would love to show you what makes St John the Baptist such a special place to work.
