Job Description and Person Specification Summary

At St Alban's Catholic Primary School, we are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our skilled and hardworking team.  The successful candidate will:

  • be passionate about delivering high-quality education;
  • have a flexible 'can-do-' attitude;
  • have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • be able to form positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues;
  • be supportive of the school's Catholic ethos.

The successful candidate will have the following key skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience;
  • fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document;
  • a sound understanding of Part four of the DfE's Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance and SEND Code of Practice;
  • a genuine desire to involve yourself fully in the life of our school and to work as part of our forward-thinking team of professionals.
