About this Role

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Childcare Officer to join our committed team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in their early years and make a real difference in a vibrant and supportive school environment.

As a Childcare Officer at Berry Brow Infant and Nursery School, you will:

Provide high-quality child care and development across the Early Years setting
Provide targeted support for individuals and small groups of children, including those with additional needs.
Help to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where all children can flourish.
Support the development of children’s communication, language, social and emotional skills.
Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values and ethos.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience of working with young children, ideally within an infant or nursery setting.
Is patient, caring and passionate about supporting children’s learning development.
Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Is proactive, flexible and able to use their initiative.
Shares our commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and high expectations for all pupils.
