About this Role

Job Title:  Level 4 Teaching Assistant

Salary Grade:  G5 SCP 19-23 (£32,061 - £34,434),

Pro-rata salary £19,292 - £20,720

Working Pattern:  26 hours per week over 4 days, 8.30am – 3.30pm Tuesday to Friday each week. Term Time + 5 days

Contract:  Fixed term - until 31st August 2026

Start Date:  ASAP

 The governors of Hey with Zion Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and compassionate Level 4 Teaching Assistant with a proven track record, to join our successful and high achieving school.

The successful candidate will:

Complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development.
