Cleaning Assistant – Onny Primary School 

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cleaning Assistant to join our dedicated team at our friendly primary school. 

Hours: Monday to Friday, 14:30–16:45 
Contract: Term time only plus 3 weeks during school holidays 

As part of our cleaning team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and hygienic environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors. 

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Has excellent attention to detail 

  • Can work independently as well as part of a team 

  • Takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining high standards 

  • Is reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking 

    Willingness to undertake training where appropriate

Duties include: 

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and shared areas

Emptying bins and managing waste appropriately

 Maintaining equipment and reporting any issues 

Following health and safety guidelines at all times
