We are seeking a highly motivated Pastoral Support to join our team. This roll will have a key focus on:
- Pastoral support for pupils, including behaviour and wellbeing
- Acting on safeguarding policies and procedures
- Leading interventions to improve pupils welfare and engagement
- Working closely with parents, offering support and outreach
- Working closely with senior leaders to promote a safe, positive and nurturing school environment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day to day pastoral support across the school
- Attending Safeguarding meetings
- Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance and behaviour
- Maintain strong relationships with parents, carers and external professionals
- Help organise family support and parent workshops
Desirable Qualities
- Experience of working in schools
- Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and child protection procedures
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualification in safeguarding, child development, or social care (or willingness to undertake training)
