As an ELSA, you’ll play a key role in helping students develop resilience, manage emotions, and build positive relationships. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working in a dynamic school environment where every day brings new opportunities to make an impact.
✔ Work one-on-one or in small groups with students facing emotional or behavioural challenges.
✔ Create a safe and nurturing space where students feel heard and supported.
✔ Plan and deliver targeted interventions, including social skills, friendship groups, bereavement support, and anger management.
✔ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure students get the best support possible.
✔ Keep accurate records to track progress and measure the impact of your interventions.
✅ A compassionate and patient individual who can build strong, trusting relationships with students.
✅ Experience working with young people, especially those with emotional or behavioural needs.
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✅ A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting students' well-being.
