We are looking for a passionate, flexible and resourceful Teaching Assistant to join our growing team supporting children with complex needs.
Job Overview
Working closely with the class teacher and wider team to support pupils learning and development, initially with KS1 children
Use alternative communication approaches such as communication boards, signing and structured routines supported by visual aids
Facilitate engagement in learning through differentiated and creative approaches
Assist in the planning, delivery and monitoring of Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) targets
Promote emotional regulation, independence and positive behaviour
Contribute to the observations, assessment and progress monitoring
Build strong relationships with families and external professionals

Job Details
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.40 - 3.10 with 30 minutes for lunch
This is a permanent position, starting ASAP following suitable references , medical and DBS checks
The role is based on a K grade, with the exact hourly rate dependent of previous experience and qualifications
The role in term-time only - 38 working weeks per year with 43.7 paid weeks per year
There will be an expectation to work overtime to attend training on specific TD Days
