We are seeking a passionate Deputy Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) or aspiring to be one to join our National Online School.
At National Online School (NOS), we believe education should be an inclusive technological experience where meaningful connections are made and everyone is enabled to become the best version of themselves. We use innovation and technology not as an add‑on, but as a powerful tool to remove barriers, strengthen relationships and create opportunity for pupils who need something genuinely different.
We are a rapidly growing, SEND‑focused and therapy‑informed virtual school, supporting pupils with diverse and complex needs to re‑engage with learning and move positively into the next phase of their lives. As we expand, our ambition is clear: to place NOS at the forefront of inclusive EdTech and to help define what excellent, therapeutic, online education looks like at scale.
Our success to date has been driven by a committed, multi‑disciplinary team who approach this serious and often life‑changing work with focus, collaboration and professionalism, alongside warmth and humanity. As a growing school, we need leaders who are confident leading through change, motivated by improvement, and energised by the opportunity to shape systems, practice and culture in a fast‑moving environment.
We welcome applications from across the education sector and from anywhere in the country. This opportunity is open to experienced professionals who are keen to work in an online environment and contribute to a forward‑thinking model of education. For colleagues coming from mainstream settings, comprehensive therapy‑informed training will be provided to support a successful transition into a SEND‑focused, inclusive context. For those who have only worked in bricks‑and‑mortar schools, a structured virtual induction will ensure confidence, competence and success within an online school model.
If you are motivated by moral purpose, innovation, growth and the opportunity to lead at the cutting edge of inclusive EdTech, we would be delighted to receive your application.
