Are you a highly motivated, professional, and forward thinking administrator with a desire to make a difference?
This is an essential role in the operation of our growing school and includes responsibility for:
- Running a busy reception and being a point of contact for visitors
- Supporting with outgoing and incoming calls to parents/carers, professionals and businesses
- General office administrative duties
- Managing accurate records of pupils including pupil premium funding
- Updating management information systems
- Contributing to a team culture and stellar office environment
We are looking for a friendly individual who has the passion and energy to work in our busy school team.
Most importantly, you will help drive on the community’s vision of a primary school and become part of a cohesive and committed office team that serves all pupils and staff.
You will need to have excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills and be competent in the use of a variety of IT systems including Google.
A knowledge of Arbor and/or ParentPay would help but we will provide all the necessary training.
We are a forward thinking team, and require a colleague who can work collaboratively with others and be a welcoming presence for visitors and our Birches Green community.
You will need to be able to form positive relationships with our children, staff, parents, governors and visitors.
You will need to be flexible, with a willingness to work across all sites of the school, responding to priorities and problem solving as required.

We are looking for someone who has a L2 administrative qualification or equivalent (or willing to work towards) to work Friday's 8am till 11:30am and 1:30pm till 4pm. This is to start in February 2025 and is fixed term until 31st August 2025 with a possibility to extend.
