We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our supportive and friendly team as a SENDCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) on a maternity cover basis. As SENCO and DSL, you will:
Lead and coordinate high-quality SEND provision across the school
Champion inclusive practice so that all learners can thrive
Oversee safeguarding and promote a strong culture of vigilance and care
Work closely with staff, families, and external professionals
Support colleagues through guidance, training, and collaboration
Ensure that learner wellbeing, voice, and individual needs remain central to school life
Kind, understanding, and highly empathetic
Adaptable and solution-focused
Committed to putting learners at the heart of every decision
An excellent communicator and team player
Experienced in SEND leadership and safeguarding practice
