Abbey Hill Academy & College, an all-through special academy catering for children with a diverse range of needs, is seeking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Department Lead to join our college team.
As
Assistant Department Lead, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day
management and organisation of main pathway programmes within our college
department. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner, committed to
ensuring the educational progress of all students, and will line manage and
appraise identified staff. A key aspect of this role will be teaching Sports to
our post-16 learners and leading the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme,
promoting physical development, teamwork, and valuable life skills.
