as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Supporting a
Child with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)
Hours: 31.25
per week (8:30am – 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
Contract:
Fixed Term until 31 August 2026 (in the first instance)
Pay Scale:
Scale 3, SCP 5–6
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching
Assistant to work one-to-one with a pupil with an EHCP. This is a rewarding
opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey while
being part of a supportive and welcoming school community.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting the individual needs of children
- Be a friendly, flexible team player with strong interpersonal
skills
- Show commitment to inclusion and building positive relationships
with pupils, staff, parents, and professionals
- Be organised, proactive, and willing to support the wider work of
the school
- Be open to training tailored to the role and the child’s needs
