Primary School, a large three form entry, community Primary school, would like
to appoint a Teaching and Learning Support Assistant to join their SEND team.
We are seeking a calm, compassionate and resilient 1:1 Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to work with a KS2 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a pupil to access learning, regulate emotions, build confidence and develop positive relationships, working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team.
Contract Type: Fixed Term (this role is attached to a specific child and will end when the child leaves the school)
Hours of Work: 10 hours per week, across Monday – Friday, 1:30pm – 3:30pm
