About this Role

Lunchtime Supervisor

Start Date:  As soon as possible

Salary:  Band A - £12.26 per hour, plus holiday pay

Part-time:  38 weeks per year, term time

Hours of work:  Monday to Friday - 6.25 hours per week. Various shifts available between the hours of 11.15am and 1.40pm

Contract:  Permanent 

Dorridge Primary School is looking for enthusiastic and passionate Lunchtime Supervisors to join our friendly and talented team.  

At Dorridge we promote an inclusive atmosphere, all pupils have access to a broad and balanced curriculum that is delivered through high quality teaching and learning. 

This role is primarily to ensure the safety and general welfare of pupils during the lunchtime period. 

The key responsibilities for this post are as follows (a comprehensive job description is available): 

  • To supervise, care, integrate and play with the children both indoors and outdoors
  • Assist children in the dining hall and tidy all areas during and following lunch
  • Work with individuals and groups of children of all levels of ability, preparing activities and all necessary resources as required by the school
  • Assist school in establishing an exciting, purposeful and safe lunchtime environment, which enables children to feel secure and happy.
