Key Responsibilities

• Lead high standards of teaching and learning across the phase.
• Monitor pupil progress and attainment to ensure strong outcomes.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, and classroom expectations.
• Support colleagues with planning and effective teaching strategies.
• Monitor teaching and provide constructive feedback to improve practice.
• Model excellent teaching and high expectations at all times.
• Lead phase/team meetings and support staff development.
• Ensure consistency in assessment and presentation across the phase.
• Track attainment data and coordinate intervention strategies.
• Support transition arrangements where appropriate.
• Foster positive relationships and engagement with parents and carers.
• Line manage and support teachers within the phase.
• Promote Quality First Teaching to raise standards for all pupils.
