North Star 265 is part of North Star Academy
Trust’s specialist provision in North Bristol, supporting pupils with Social,
Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are committed to providing a
joined‑up, high‑quality educational experience that enables every pupil to
thrive both academically and personally.
We are seeking an experienced and creative KS3
teacher with a background in Design Technology and Art. Working
primarily with KS3 pupils taught on a primary-style model, you will play a key
role in delivering an engaging, practical and inclusive curriculum that
motivates learners and supports their individual needs. Experience of working
within an SEMH or SEND setting would be advantageous. The school is expanding
and you will join in a year where we will move from our primary model being
taught in Secondary to a subject specialism curriculum.

through hands‑on, project‑based learning, maintaining strong routines while
inspiring pupils to explore creativity, develop practical skills and take pride
in their achievements. You will be passionate about safeguarding, committed to
inclusion, and determined to build positive relationships that support pupils’
social, emotional and academic development.
