St Michael’s Catholic School (Wycombe Campus)

St Michael’s Catholic School requires a teacher to join a successful Primary Phase working at our Wycombe Primary Campus. We seek a well-qualified, enthusiastic teaching assistant who is committed to supporting pupils’ education and able to teach across all the Primary Key Stages.

St Michael’s pupils composed the school’s mission statement of “achieve in faith with love as a community”. Young people are entering an increasingly complex world; the leaders of the future will require empathies, attributes and attitudes that will allow them to navigate and thrive in a world characterised by change. Our focus on Gospel values, strong relationships and exceptional pastoral support, provide the bedrock of our work.

At St Michael's you will be fortunate enough to be part of a welcoming, forward thinking learning community with dedicated, professional staff and opportunities for personal and career development. We are determined that St Michael's will be second to none in the quality of its curriculum opportunities, teaching, learning, staff and resources. Our diverse and exciting range of opportunities for enrichment and learning outside the classroom give students the opportunity to grow in a broad range of contexts contributing to the development of happy, confident and ambitious young people.

St Michael's Catholic School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the DBS.

The governors of St Michael’s Catholic School reserve the right to withdraw this advert ahead of the closing date shown.  Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.  Any candidate that has begun an application on MyNewTerm will be notified of any change to the closing date and given the opportunity to complete the application
