At Knowleswood Primary School, we’re looking for a fantastic Classroom Teacher and passionate English leader who can help our pupils find their voice, their confidence and their love of learning.   We’re looking for someone who is ready to lead English across the school, inspire colleagues and transform literacy outcomes – while also delivering excellent teaching in the classroom.

🧑‍🏫 Outstanding Classroom Teacher

You will:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that make pupils want to learn

• Create a classroom where every child feels safe, challenged and proud

• Use assessment intelligently to help pupils move forward

• Build strong relationships with pupils and families

• Maintain high expectations – because our children deserve nothing less

📚 English Lead

You will:

• Shape and drive an ambitious whole-school English curriculum

• Champion reading, writing and vocabulary across the school

• Support colleagues to improve their teaching of English

• Analyse attainment and lead strategies to close gaps

• Report on English outcomes and improvement to leaders and governors
