a full-time position—perfect for someone who enjoys working with young people
and may be exploring a future career in teaching or looking to reignite
their journey back into education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role

• Confidently liaise with students, teachers and support staff
• Bring enthusiasm, resilience and a positive presence to the classroom
• Hold high expectations and a genuine desire to help young people succeed
Why The Hemel Hempstead School?
Set on a beautiful site in the Boxmoor area, we are a popular,
oversubscribed school, with excellent road, rail and bus links to London.
Our 2022 Ofsted inspection praised our strong values—Responsibility,
Respect, Relationships, Reflection and Resilience—highlighting how these
shape the confident, capable young people we nurture.
With over 250 students in our thriving Sixth Form
and 217 students in each year group, we are growing and investing in our
future. Our facilities include world-class sporting provision, and a brand-new
music, languages and science centre, with further developments on the horizon.
If you’re passionate about education, eager to
support young people, and excited to grow as a professional, this role could be
the perfect next step.
