About this Role

Post details: The successful candidate will have a casual contract, working up to 6 hours and 30 minutes per week, as agreed between the employee and employer. The post will start as soon as possible, subject to the completion of required checks and clearances.

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our team on a casual contract basis.

Hours: Up to 6 hours 30 minutes per week (flexible hours, to be mutually agreed between employer and employee)

Key Responsibilities:

  • General caretaking duties around the premises

  • Light maintenance and basic repairs

  • Ensuring a safe and tidy environment

  • Opening/locking up as required

  • Reporting any issues promptly

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Responsible and trustworthy

    • Able to work independently

    • Good communication and practical skills

    • Previous experience beneficial but not essential

    • must be punctual, friendly, reliable and hardworking.
    • will be required to liaise will external contractors.

    Candidates must be willing to:

    • complete safeguarding training.
    • complete PREVENT training.
    • read all relevant policies and procedures.
    • complete COSHH training.
    • complete IOSH training.
    • undertake any other relevant training.

    The successful candidate will be appointed under the terms and conditions of a CES contract which they will be required to sign.
