This is a 1 year fixed term post
working 31.25 hours per week, term time plus two days
At DSAT Multi Academy Trust, children are at the centre of all we do. Our ambitious and emerging Multi Academy Trust currently comprises of 17 Primary schools across Rotherham, Sheffield and Doncaster.
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Teaching Assistant with good interpersonal skills and high standards. In return, we can promise a school full of amazing children, a genuine staff team and a well-resourced environment.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious teaching assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be working with individuals, small groups and within whole classes to impact on children’s learning. They will need excellent communication skills, the ability to engage and motivate children and will be a committed member of the whole school team. This role will also include promoting positive play and behaviour in the playground during playtimes and lunchtime sessions.
We offer full training and on-going support to
the successful candidate who has the ability to implement phonics, English and
Maths group work and also to support across the whole curriculum.
The
successful applicant will need to work collaboratively with the class teacher,
respond sensitively and confidently to the needs of children, Applicants
applying for the post must already hold a relevant recognised NVQ Level 3 Early Years or
equivalent Early Years qualification . The successful
candidate must have a minimum of Grade C in GSCE English and Maths (or
equivalent), and experience of working in a primary school setting.
