About this Role

39 weeks per year

32.5 hours per week (term time plus 5 training days)

Brompton Hall School is based within private grounds in the pretty village of Brompton-by-Sawdon and is a Special Education School for pupils aged between 8 and 16 years, who have an Education, Health and Care Plan.   This role is a varied one, based both within and outside of the classroom.  You will be required to use your initiative, and work with small groups, as well as at times be within the full class.  Under the supervision of the teacher, you will use your skills to enhance the learning opportunities of the children within our school.

You will be highly organised, with the ability to: 

  • Be able to build strong relationships with children
  • Motivate and develop the children in your care
  • Be passionate about seeing young people succeed
