A fabulous opportunity to join our wonderful team at Priory Rise School.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic unqualified Music Teacher to join our creative, vibrant and supportive school community. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in their musical journey, developing children’s knowledge and skills through the delivery of a rich music curriculum. The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading the provision of music across the school so will need to be driven and passionate about music.

This is a varied role, and you will take responsibility for delivering, planning and assessing music lessons. You will actively engage all our children in music activities and whole school enrichment, working alongside the leadership team.

 

The ideal candidate will: -

  • Have a background in music.
  • Have a relevant qualification in coaching/tutoring for primary aged children in a variety of musical skills and be able develop key knowledge. 
  • Be able to teach music to a whole class.
  • Be able to establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
  • Want to make a difference to the children in our care.
