Your Role

This is a pivotal role where you will lead on SEND and Inclusion, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to succeed. As Assistant Headteacher, you will play a key part in shaping our curriculum, supporting staff development, and fostering a safe, inclusive environment where all can flourish. Your leadership will help us continue our journey towards excellence, working closely with the Head of School and the wider team. 

The Assistant Headteacher role also includes a class teacher committment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion SEND and Inclusion across the school, ensuring every pupil receives the tailored support they need to achieve their best.
  • Deputise for the Head of School, stepping into leadership as needed and contributing to the strategic direction of the school.
  • Oversee the whole school curriculum, ensuring it is broad, balanced, and meets the needs of all learners.
  • Serve as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, helping to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for every child.
  • Support the Head of School in identifying and delivering high-quality CPD, empowering staff to grow and excel in their roles.
