There is an opportunity toj oin our team as a secondary DT/ART teacher. We are looking for a suitably qualified teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in gaining experience in a special school and developing their classroom expertise. ·         

Teach Key Stage 3 and key Stage 4 lessons to pupils with a range of abilities

·          Establish positive relationships with a class as a tutor

·         Develop knowledge and skills linked to teaching pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs

·         Be a qualified and experience teacher of DT/ART

·         Be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons

·         Be prepared to develop schemes of learning and take responsibility for monitoring and assessment    

·         Possess real strengths in developing relationships with pupils and supporting their engagement in learning

·          Be prepared to get involved in the wider life of the school
